The manual page and help for the glances linux command. Glances is a platform-independent curses-based system monitoring tool designed to present as much information as possible in the smallest space, ideally matched to a classic 80x24 or higher resolution terminal to display additional information. It can dynamically adapt the displayed information depending on the size of the terminal. It can also operate in client / server mode. Remote monitoring can also be performed via a terminal or web interface. Glances is written in Python and uses the psutil library to gather information from the system.
