The manual page and help for the gtf linux command. Gtf is a utility for calculating VESA GTF modes. Based on the specified horizontal and vertical resolutions as well as the refresh rate (in Hz), the program returns the corresponding VESA GTF mode parameters. Gtf supports two output formats: Xorg returns the appropriate mode lines, or mode parameters that can be used with the fbset utility.
