Manual page and help for the cjpeg Linux command. The cjpeg command compresses the specified image file or, if no file is specified, the data received on standard input. Creates a JPEG / JFIF file on standard output. Currently supported input file formats are PPM (PBMPLUS color format), PGM (PBMPLUS grayscale format), BMP, Targa, and RLE (Utah Raster Toolkit format). (RLE is only supported if the URT directory is available.)
