Manage dialog boxes

This category includes creating and managing dialog boxes from shell scripts, such as simple text boxes, checklists, radio buttons, input fields, menus, progress indicators, yes / no based question panels, password request panels, and more useful features and more convenient command line appearance.

In the tutorials and examples here, we take advantage of the text terminal whiptail program capabilities, and the capabilities of KDialog and xdialog programs for displaying dialog boxes that can be created in graphical desktop environments.

We also touch on other alternatives that can also make our shell scripts look more spectacular.
